The Matrix. The Background. The Void. Our next and final stop on the journey takes us into an uncertain future and requires some imagination. For many of us, imagination is a powerful force that we practice daily. For others it can be a struggle. To be stuck in the present. Repeating the same thoughts and actions over and over again, tortured by our own skewed sense of being. As the journey concludes, I take you out of that cycle and toward one of hope. At the end of the day, what else do we have but hope? Hope that all the hard work will pay off. That all the little things will add up to pieces of a greater whole. That we haven't been running around in circles all along. That our actions have meaning, not just meaning perceived by us. We as people want to make a difference and leave the world a better place, whatever that may mean. And we hope that once we finally do find that meaning, by then it's still good enough.
